GEUS is responsible for collecting seismological data in Denmark, Greenland, and the Faeroe Islands. The service has been operating continuously since 1926, but even older data exist from Greenland. The seismograph stations are described in the Station Book.
Seismogram readings are forwarded to the US Geological Survey on a weekly basis, and to the International Seismological Center once a month. The Seismic bulletins can also be found on this web site. Waveform data are available through autoDRM.
GEUS is a member of ORFEUS, the International Seismological Center, the Federation of Digital Broad-Band Seismograph Networks, and the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.
